Tartan Energy Group has a full-service manufacturing centre in Edmonton, Alberta, with 23 machines including computer numerical control (CNC) units, live tooling
equipment, and 5-Axis machines, permitting us to machine all the parts designed by our engineering department.
Our manufacturing response time and ability to adapt to the ever-changing energy sector environment enable us to provide immediate, reliable solutions for our customers’ challenges.
ENGINEERING AND DESIGN >
Our design process starts with collaboration between our customers, field operations, and the engineering staff. We discuss the requirements, parameters, and concepts for your project. The final design is modeled in 3D and assessed using finite element analysis (FEA). Tartan Energy Group equipment designs are continually being reviewed as new conditions arise under different applications and challenging downhole requirements.

As a company, Tartan strives to eliminate any foreseeable hazards which may result in accidents causing personal injury/illness or property damage. Management and workers are equally responsible for minimizing accidents at our facilities and field work sites. Safe work practices and procedures are clearly defined in the Tartan Energy Group Health, Safety & Environmental Management System Manual for employees to follow.
Accidental loss can be controlled through good management in combination with active employee involvement. Safety is the direct responsibility of all managers, supervisors, and workers. As evidence of our focus on safety, Tartan complies with all safety requirements as they relate to the planning, operation, and maintenance of facilities and equipment. All employees perform their jobs properly, in accordance with established procedures and safe work practices.
